This recent video produced by the Seattle Times on Jerry Franklin captured the essence of a scientist who dedicated his career to educating others about the ecological uniqueness of old-growth forests in the Pacific Northwest. I’m trying as hard as I can to do the same with another one of nature’s best kept secrets–severely burned forests.
